Within our regional Digital Audit & Transparency (DAT) part of Specialised Assurance Services - team we empower graduates to shape the future of business through innovation trust and transparency. You will be part of a team that delivers human-led tech-powered audits and assurance engagements using emerging technologies to improve audit quality and efficiency. The role blends traditional audit and assurance services with cutting-edge technology.

You will work with leading organisations across industries to solve complex problems assess risk and build trust in systems data and controls. Digital Audit

Our Digital Audit service offering provides specialised support to external financial audit teams within the firm. This work blends traditional audit with cutting-edge technology and is suited to graduates who want to work at the intersection of technology data and audit. Team members interact regularly with various client contacts from finance directors IT leads and controllers to investigate issues present findings and recommend improvements.

The work involves:

  • Collaborating with external financial audit teams and when relevant cybersecurity specialists to agree on an audit approach that is focussed and efficient;

  • Assessing clients technology systems used to support their financial reporting and the controls they have in place to ensure data integrity and system resilience;

  • Understanding how data is processed and reported and highlight IT risks and highlight opportunities for improvement to our clients;

  • Assessing IT controls system configurations and data accuracy across critical systems and processes

  • Responding to identified risks within IT environment that may impact client financial reporting; and

  • The application of artificial intelligence platforms to streamline auditing processes and improve efficiency.

Trust and Transparency

As a graduate delivering Trust & Transparency services you could be learning about your clients businesses as you assess the processes and controls that underpin their commercial relationships data and performance measures. This helps them meet regulatory and contractual standards. Youll apply technology accounting and regulatory skills to increase clarity strengthen bargaining positions and build longterm trusted partnerships. You will work across a range of industries including financial services and IT. Building relationships with clients is a key focus for this team.

Internal Audit Governance Risk and Control (IAGRC)

In delivering IAGRC services you will be helping organisations strengthen their risk and control environments. Youll work with clients to map processes test key controls and recommend practical improvements that make a real difference. Youll gain a 360degree view of how businesses operate - covering strategic operational regulatory financial and technology risks - while helping design frameworks policies and tools that make control environments more effective and efficient. Its an opportunity to combine analytical thinking with problem-solving and to build expertise thats valued across every industry.

Information Technology Risk

Outside of the Digital audit our teams help clients assess risks related to digital transformation cyber security cloud migration and automation. Youll support enhancements to governance and risk management and help clients prioritise remediation and cybersecurity investments that strengthen their resilience.

XBRL Services

Irish and UK companies are required to produce their financial statements in XBRL format for filing with the respective tax authorities. Our team offers a managed tagging service to convert financial statements into machine readable format for our client. As a graduate delivering XBRL services you will get the opportunity to develop your technical skills on XBRL financial statement preparation and over time you will develop valuable project management skills in managing a portfolio of clients liaising with multiple internal stakeholder and clients.
