Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Houston TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post so you will use a vehicle to support coverage respond to alarms and/or calls for service and deliver clear communication and customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed at a chemical and petrochemical facility.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating notifications and documenting details per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings production-adjacent areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or conditions requiring attention.
- Control access for employees contractors and visitors by following credential checks visitor processing and/or vehicle screening procedures as assigned.
- Complete patrol logs incident reports and shift communications using required systems and/or forms and report maintenance or operational concerns through the appropriate channels.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 years armed security law enforcement and/or military experience is required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
