Job Description
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Justice Center Screener in Punta Gorda FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a government location where your presence and professionalism help promote a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas document observations respond to incidents and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while providing strong customer a culture that is agile reliable innovative and people first you will deliver through teamwork and always act with integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings parking areas and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and interior/exterior areas reporting suspicious activity and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with evacuations and/or directing first responders as needed.
- Complete patrol logs incident reports and other required documentation and communicate key information during shift briefings and/or post handoff.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 2 Years Law Enforcement/Military Police/Corrections Experience.
- Be 21 Years of Age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
