As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Tours in Louisville KY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control by checking credentials communicating clearly with employees and visitors and documenting observations. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures location policies and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and notify site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of warehouse dock office and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual activity.
• Control access at entrances gates and truck check-in areas by verifying credentials documenting visitor and driver activity and directing traffic flow.
• Complete detailed patrol logs and incident reports and communicate shift activity and follow-up needs to the next officer and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
