Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Finance Business Partner to join our leadership team and drive the financial excellence of our this pivotal role you will act as a strategic advisor to the Site Leader providing the financial acumen and advanced analytics necessary for sound business decision-making. You will take full ownership of the budgeting and forecasting cycles oversee the monthly closing process and ensure rigorous control over CAPEX investments fixed assets and MRO inventory. Beyond reporting you will be a catalyst for changeidentifying productivity initiatives leveraging government incentives and ensuring strict SOX and SEA compliance across all operations. This position requires a proactive leader who can navigate complex systems (SAP HFM Coupa) manage stakeholder relationships globally and foster a culture of financial accountability and continuous improvement within the finance function.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Partnering financial planning analysis and reporting
Partner with the Site Leader and extended leadership team providing strong financial acumen and analysis to support sound business decisions
Drive day-to-day financial operations including payroll intercompany invoicing and other transactional activities
Drive productivity initiatives and leverage operational or tax incentives
Identify and drive continuous improvements of site finance processes in collaboration with global teams
Proactively identify and escalate financial risks and potential impacts to site results
Respond to adhoc financial requests from regional and corporate teams and prepare financial analyses to support decisions outside standard planning cycles
Oversight of Monthly Closing Process
Review site accruals including payroll IT costs and other key expenses
Enforce transfer pricing rules and rebillings in line with Service Agreements (monthly intercompany invoices)
Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of financial statements
Closely partner with global teams to ensure quality accuracy and timeliness of finance processes
Ensure consistency of financial data across systems and processes from spend approval through reporting
Financial Business Partnering
Continuously challenge and review local spend with site managers
Analyze financial performance and variances versus plan or forecast
Ensure timely delivery of cost center dashboards to site managers
Drive financial accountability at the cost center level
Lead monthly SROs and communicate risks and opportunities to FP&A
Capex Expenditures and Investments
Review and approve capital investment requests
Partner with the business to analyze project assumptions financials ROI payback and NPV
Ensure capex tracking (GCM submission PO placement GR completion) and support project execution
Fixed Asset Management
Ensure fixed asset controls in line with SOX requirements and FA policies including timely closure of CIP projects
Perform fixed asset inventory labeling and impairment analysis
MRO Inventory Management
Ensure controls over MRO inventory in line with SOX requirements and policies
Review weekly cycle count reports provided by LAB
Ensure proper costing of MRO inventory
Lead financial recovery of missing or inaccurate MRO inventory costs from the service provider
Budgeting and Forecasting
Lead annual budgeting and forecasting cycles
Coordinate reviews and budgets with cost center managers
Partner with HR to validate headcount and related personnel costs
Set annual cost allocations and analyze financial impacts
Review results with Global Functional FP&A
Oversee SAP and HFM data upload
Government Incentives and Tax Credits
Lead business support related to government subsidies and tax credits
Partner with external provider (AYMING) and central engineering to identify eligible projects and ensure compliance with documentation and cost tracking
Ensure accurate calculation accounting and financial recognition of received government incentives eligible costs and their financial contribution
YOUR PROFILE
University degree in Economics Finance Accounting or Business Administration.
35 years of experience in a similar financial role (Controller FP&A Analyst Finance Manager) ideally within an international environment.
Excellent command of English and Czech for daily communication with both local leadership and the global headquarters.
Strong analytical thinking and the ability to interpret financial data into clear business recommendations.
Proactive approach and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
Nice to have
Experience with SAP and HFM systems
Knowledge of SOX principles and internal control frameworks
Previous experience with capital investment management (CAPEX)
Understanding of government grants or R&D tax credit programs
Experience in leading or mentoring colleagues
