This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional pediatric care in a hands-on on-site setting.
As a Locum MD or DO in Pediatrics you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to our young patients. Your expertise will directly impact the well-being of children in the community allowing you to work on diverse cases while collaborating with fellow healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical care to pediatric patients
- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat a range of pediatric conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Current medical license to practice in the state
- Experience in pediatrics or related field
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of pediatric medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing clinical situations
- Level I Nursery
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts 7a-7a
Setting: Inpatient
Annual Volume: 250 deliveries 40-50 pediatric admissions
Duties: Newborns inpatient peds circumcisions neonatal resuscitation and treatment of respiratory and infectious diseases
Will attend all c-sections
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
