Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints and technical specifications.
  

• Measure cut shape and assemble metal components using hand tools power tools and fabrication machinery.
  

• Fit and align structural parts piping and supports with accuracy.
  

• Perform welding grinding and finishing operations as required.
  

• Inspect fabricated components for dimensional accuracy and quality compliance.
  

• Conduct preventive maintenance of tools and equipment.
  

• Ensure adherence to HSE (Health Safety Environment) standards and site safety procedures.
  

• Collaborate with engineers supervisors and other trades to meet project deadlines.
  

• Maintain records of work progress materials used and quality checks.
  

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Fabrication or related trade.
  

• 510 years of experience in fitting/fabrication roles (industrial shipyard oil & gas or construction).
  

• Strong knowledge of fabrication methods welding techniques and material properties.
  

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and P&IDs.
