We are sharing a specialised remote opportunity for board-certified Orthopedic Surgeons to support a healthcare AI partner developing advanced clinical decision-support systems for musculoskeletal diagnostics operative planning and post-operative care.
This role allows experienced surgeons to directly shape how AI interprets orthopedic cases by reviewing clinical data validating recommendations and ensuring guideline-aligned high-accuracy outputs.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Data Annotation
Review orthopedic consult notes imaging reports operative summaries and case documentation
Validate diagnoses surgical indications implant choices and rehabilitation pathways
Quality Review & Model Evaluation
Audit datasets for clinical accuracy and alignment with AAOS guidelines
Evaluate AI-generated treatment plans and summaries for safety appropriateness and surgical soundness
Knowledge Contribution
Define annotation standards for acute injuries degenerative disease and sports-related pathology
Advise on complex scenarios such as polytrauma revision surgery and intricate fracture patterns
Ideal Profile
Strong candidates may have:
MD or DO board-certified/eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
Active U.S. medical license
5 years clinical experience (preferred)
Expertise in surgical planning imaging interpretation and post-operative management
Interest in medical AI or informatics (preferred)
