Job Title: Radiologist Liaison
Job Location:Hybrid Administrative Office/Remote

Job Summary:
The Radiologist Liaison performs a variety of clerical duties while maintaining a high level of customer service and confidentiality. Responsibilities include answering incoming calls in a professional and polite manner contacting referring physicians at the request of the radiologist and transferring calls as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer incoming phone calls Physicians Office such as:
o Addendum requests
o Stat reports
o Questions from referring offices
Answer incoming phone calls Patients such as:
o Resetting passwords
o Create patients in MedInformatix Patient Portal
Triage incoming calls for IT issues; convert issues to tickets escalate to individuals or teams as necessary
Perform password resets and unlock accounts for multiple systems
Relay messages to RAD groups via text for doctors when appropriate
Run a Completed Exam Report in MedInformatix verify unread exams. Contract radiologist for completion
Resend failed fax reports to referring physician office; forward a fax 2nd fail to Medical Records department
Update report status in Clario
Clario Lists for radiologists for missing images and image requests
Push LRH referring orders as required to LRH PACS
Communicate Manatee Memorial physicians with STAT/Immediate findings
Message radiologists for report addendums and image uploads in PACS system
Perform other related duties as assigned
Onsite responsibilities (day shift only):
Reception duties
Welcome visitors and notify appropriate staff of their arrival.
Receive incoming packages and distribute accordingly
Run outgoing mail
Prepare patient letters for mailing
Prepare patient files for Cancer and Hepatobiliary conference as needed
Pint daily payment log and count cash payments received form outpatient centers
Reconcile payment log and cash received
Prepare record for daily deposit
Remote responsibilities (night shift only):
Work the inbound scheduling during night shift
Review and track CT Lung Screening patients and follow-up appointments
Prepare and disseminate appropriate follow-up letter
Education and Experience:
High school diploma required
Medical terminology preferred
EMR experience preferred
Skills & Qualifications:
Clerical skills with 3 5 years experience
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently with discretion and flexibility with a professional presence
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to utilize multiple software applications/EMR systems
Strong organizational skills
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
Normal hand eye coordination and manual dexterity
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to distinguish letters and symbols
Ability to respond quickly to sounds
Clarity of vision at close distances (20 inches or less) and far distances (20ft or more)
