Position Overview
A hospital in Anchorage is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join its dynamic cardiovascular services team.
This role is responsible for providing high-quality patient-centered care in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced procedural environment and demonstrates strong critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care before during and after cardiac catheterization procedures.
Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures (e.g. cardiac caths PCI stent placements).
Monitor hemodynamic status and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
Administer medications and moderate sedation per protocol.
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.
Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-procedure care.
Participate in on-call rotation as required (if applicable).
Required Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (or compact eligibility if applicable).
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Previous Cath Lab or critical care experience preferred.

Experience with hemodynamic monitoring
Ability to perform in high-acuity procedural settings
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
