CARFAX Network Engineering is a highly collaborative diverse and distributed team - we dont expect you to meet a rigid list of technical requirements but we do require you to be a network nerd with some great real-world experience!

Your mission is to support and improve our network. We dont do direct staff end-user support however we regularly collaborate with multiple internal technical teams to support their addition were always evolving network capabilities with new technologies and projects to make our network secure fast and reliable.

The CARFAX Network Team is a fun-loving and low-stress team with minimal on-call responsibilities. We dont burn the candle at both ends and we truly embrace a cooperative framework. We have a well developed on-boarding process to ease you into your new job.

What youll be doing:

  • Managing a Team Responsible for network access and edge.
  • Collaboration Working with peer managers and leaders throughout the organization to understand their needs and build connectivity solutions that allow their teams to work anywhere.
  • Firewall Expertise:Your team is responsible forPalo Alto andFortinetfirewalls in campus and data center environments. Youll focus on the logic integration and rule lifecycle of these tools rather than physical hardware deployment.
  • Remote Access Expertise: Your team is responsible forzScaler and Prisma remote aaccess solutions.
  • Identity & Access Management:Your team bridges the gap between networking and identity by administeringCisco ISE and ensuring all devices are properly integrated. Your goal is to manage clean sponsored access policies that follow a true lifecycle from start to finish.
  • Modern Security Layers:Beyond traditional firewalling youll manage internal micro-segmentation usingAkamai Guardicoreand protect our perimeter withData Domeanti-fraud tools.
  • End-User Collaboration:Youll work closely with our desktop teams to ensure VPN clients and certificates deploy smoothly on the last mile.
  • Participate in on-call rotations.
  • Have fun learn and grow!

What were looking for:

  • 5 years management experience in network engineering.
  • Experience and ease interacting with non-technical leadership at all levels.
  • Deep commit to customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to develop and mentor a technical team with different levels of experience.
  • Commitment to high-team morale and work-life balance.
  • Must have foundational knowledge of traditional networking (switching routing ACLs etc.)
  • Ability to operate effectively in a multi-vendor environment.
  • Experience with managing end-user VPNs with thousands of users in a global environment.
  • 3 years of experience with Fortinet and zScaler.
  • 3 years of experience with Palo Alto Prisma and Panorama
  • Real world experience securing data centers and campus offices.

Werequireall candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we canproceedto an offer.
