Airport Security Officer Dispatch Part Time

As a Airport Security Officer - Dispatcherin Kahului HI you will serve and safeguard the airport its facilities travelers and ensure the safety and security of airport operations. youll be the communication hub of our aviation security operations. Youll coordinate real-time responses monitor systems and dispatch officers to where theyre needed most.

Position Type: Part Time - Afternoon

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

• Valid Drivers License
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking dispatching and CCTV monitoring
• Security Experience: 1 years
• 21 years of age
• Have ability to pass a background check drug screening and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
• NOTE: First two months in this position will be working various posts for best geography and familiarization on airport property

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals public areas access points and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances restricted access areas and authorized credentials and report suspicious or unusual activity per post orders.
• Complete patrol logs incident reports and other required documentation and communicate status updates to supervision and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 years of security-related experience.
• Be 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
