SUMMARY
Responsible for safe transport of Residents from The Tradition or Palace to scheduled locations and back to campus.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
1. Reviews a daily schedule for accuracy and completeness.
2. Assists with boarding and disembarking of resident.
3. Maintains vehicle logs.
4. Ensures gas supply.
5. Notifies Maintenance of any needs for service.
6. Understands and complies with all procedures and regulations as related to Fire Safety OSHA and Disaster programs.
7. Adheres to proper safety procedures while operating facility vehicles.
8. Communicates in an effective and courteous manner with all residents facility personnel and visitors.
9. All other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
(EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
