JOB TITLE:
UW RMMC Safety Technician
JOB PURPOSE:
The Safety Technicians assist the Hazmat Specialist and the Hazmat Supervisor with the day to day operation of the Regulated Materials Management Center. We identify categorize transport and store all of the regulated materials that exist on campus.

Identifying and classifying hazardous waste
Recordkeeping
Safety inspections
Chemical delivery
Facility cleaning and maintenance
Data Entry
SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:
Crossed trained with UW Safety Technicians

WORK LOCATION:
On-campus: This position provides vital support to campus customers and the successful candidate must be available to work on campus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:Current UW student
Experience:General chemistry biologyphysics or engineering(college level preferred).
