Job Summary

Palmerston North City CouncilinvitesExpressions of Interest from interested persons to fill a voluntary position on the Creative Communities Scheme committee.

The scheme is a partnership between Council and Creative New Zealand that helps to fund local arts projects. To be eligible for fundingtheproject needs to have an arts or cultural focus and take place within Palmerston North City Council boundaries.

Ifyouresomeone who loves art and has knowledge of what is happening in the arts locally then this role might be the perfect fit! The role will involve assessing applications for funding from artistic individuals and community groups as well as attending committee meetings two times a year.

This is a voluntary position. Committee members receive a meeting fee of $85 per decision meeting (two per year).
