As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol in Cincinnati OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents. You will support staff patients and visitors with professional customer service clear communication and timely reporting. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation and timely notification to onsite leadership and/or public responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Control access by monitoring entrances checking identification and/or visitor authorization as required and directing individuals to appropriate areas per site policy.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to incidents patrol observations and policy violations and communicate status updates to site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Hospital vaccines are required.
• Proof of a high school diploma and/or GED is required per client requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
