Security Officer Rover Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Rover Patrol Driver in La Porte TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location you will conduct routine patrols stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and support access control and incident reporting using site technology. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license in the job state. You will deliver professional customer service clear communication and teamwork bringing Allied Universals agile reliable innovative people-first approach and integrity to every shift.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas access points parking areas and the perimeter documenting notable conditions and reporting issues through the chain of command.
• Monitor for unusual activity alarms spills odors or other irregular conditions and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner assisting with scene control traffic control and directions for employees contractors and visitors.
• Complete routine reports and logs including patrol activity incident documentation and shift turnover notes using required written and/or electronic systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
