Kenny Kent Toyota Lexus is looking for an experienced and customer-focusedAutomotive Service Advisor / Service Writerto join our service department. As the primary link between our customers and technicians youll play a vital role in ensuring each guest receives exceptional service while their vehicle is maintained or repaired. If you have a background inautomotive service writing customer communication and repair order management this is an excellent opportunity to grow with a respected dealership.

Automotive Service Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers listen to their concerns and accurately write repair orders.
  • Communicate recommended services costs and timelines in a clear and professional manner.
  • Work closely with technicians to ensure all repairs and maintenance are performed correctly and on time.
  • Provide ongoing updates to customers regarding vehicle status and any additional repair needs.
  • Process warranty claims payments and ensure all documentation is complete in theDealer Management System (DMS).
  • Uphold dealership standards for customer service accuracy and productivity.

Automotive Service Advisor Qualifications:

  • 1 - 3 years of experience as anAutomotive Service Advisor Service Writer or related role(dealership experience preferred).
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
  • Knowledge ofautomotive repair maintenance and service department operations.
  • Computer proficiency with DMS software (CDK Reynolds & Reynolds or similar).
  • Professional reliable and team-oriented work ethic.
  • Valid drivers license with clean driving record.
