Every day we rise to the challenge to make a difference and heres how the Head of Specialty Care role will make an impact - it is a key strategic leadership position within Viatris Netherlands responsible for shaping and driving the commercial success of the Specialty Care portfolio today and into the future. This role goes beyond execution. It is about setting direction challenging conventions and building an integrated commercial organization that brings together sales marketing digital and omnichannel capabilities to accelerate sustainable growth. You will lead the Specialty Care business with full P&L accountability while working closely with the local leadership team regional stakeholders and cross-functional partners to ensure strong alignment with Viatris vision and long-term strategy.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Strategic & Commercial Leadership:
Define implement and continuously refine the sales marketing and digital strategy for the Specialty Care including mature brands and future innovative pipeline
Lead the development and execution of brand plans ensuring strong cross-functional alignment and flawless execution
Identify new market opportunities for both current and future portfolios. Drive an integrated stakeholder approach across pharmacists wholesalers HCPs KOLs and patient associations
People & Organization
Build lead and inspire a high-performing integrated team across sales marketing and digital
Work closely with other commercial units business functions and regional teams to unlock synergies and common strategies
Actively collaborate with Generic business units to support launches digital initiatives and portfolio optimization
Financial Accountability
Full accountability for financial planning and performance including forecasts A&P and SG&A budgets
Monitor performance through clear KPIs translating insights into decisive actions
Ensure disciplined data-driven decision making and responsible budget governance
External Representation & Networking
Represent Viatris at congresses institutional meetings and key external forums
Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders that contribute to long-term business growth
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
815 years of experience in the Dutch pharmaceutical market
Proven leadership experience as Business Unit Manager Head of Marketing Head of Sales or equivalent
Strong track record in sales and marketing leadership across Rx and Generics in the Dutch Pharmaceutical market
Experience with product launches portfolio strategy and long-term planning
Solid understanding of digital and omnichannel strategies
Strong experience in financial planning analytical forecasting and budget management
Inspirational and credible people leader with strong communication and influencing skills
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into execution and Entrepreneurial mindset with the courage to challenge existing ways of working
Strong problem-solving skills in complex fast-changing environments
High level of accountability ownership and business commitment
Proficiency in Dutch and English
