Job Summary

Catering Assistant Lead

$26.71 25% casual loading

Monday to Friday 12pm - 8pm roster. No weekends or late nights unless there are functions and events.
Enjoy having school holidays off as well
Work close to home in South Yarra

The Position

Help supervise a small team
Assist the kitchen to prepare and present food and beverages
Provide friendly customer service
Fast paced environment
Operate the till to take orders and process transactions
Collaborating effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations
Adhering to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices.
Washing dishes with a commercial dishwasher

The Person

Experience with customer service and basic food handling experience is desired
Some experience with coffee making is advantageous
Current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain
Have strong organisational skills
Excels in high-pressure environments
Thrives in collaborative small-team settings
Possesses hands on experience with POS systems
Friendly customer-oriented attitude
Being flexible to handle diverse tasks from food prep to cleaning based on the needs at that time.
Has Responsible Service of Alcohol RSA or able to attain is an advantage.
