Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Perimeter Patrol in Charlotte NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol professional at a financial institution where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and/or concerns document activity and deliver standout customer service through clear our agile reliable and innovative team you will put people first while acting with integrity every shift.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities while assigned to an armed post.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site leadership and public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas exterior grounds parking areas and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor access points verify identification and/or authorization and help to deter unauthorized entry loitering and/or disruptive activity.
- Complete required documentation such as patrol logs incident reports and/or shift activity reports and follow all post orders use of force guidelines and firearms handling requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
