Job Summary
The UCF/HCA Healthcare emergency medical services fellowship is searching for core faculty for our newly accredited ACGME Candidates:Applicants must be Board Certified in emergency medicine and emergency medical services by the American Board of Emergency MedicineBe able to devote an average of five hours per week to the fellowshipHold or be eligible for a Florida medical licensureThe successful applicant will have the opportunity to teach and supervise EMS fellows emergency medicine residents on their EMS rotation and visiting medical studentsThe position is also offered independent of the requirement of a clinical EM UCF/HCA Healthcare EMS Fellowship collaborates with several clinical and teaching sites such as the Osceola County Fire Department Kissimmee Fire Department St. Cloud Fire Department HCA Florida Osceola Regional Orlando Health Air Care Nemours Children Hospital and the Orlando Medical Institute a paramedic training institutionFaculty enjoy an academically rich and progressive community where there is strong leadership support for innovation research and career developmentIncentives/Benefits Package:HCA Florida Osceola Hospital and University of Central Florida COM have successfully built residencies/fellowships in Internal Medicine Endocrinology Emergency Medicine OBGYN Psychiatry General Surgery Gastroenterology Cardiology Palliative Care and NeurologyHCA offers robust research resources such as access to statisticians and a national database of thousands of patients in addition to a plethora of faculty development resources.
