The University continues to uphold its mission of enhancing the quality of life and preserving protecting and interpreting First Nations peoples history language culture and artistic is a unique learning place specializing in Indigenous knowledge and providing post-secondary education for Indigenous and non-Indigenous students within a culturally supportive First Nations University of Canada is a federated college of the University of Regina and its academic programs are accredited through that values include wisdom respect humility sharing harmony beauty strength and Senior Analyst is responsible for managing and coordinating projects arising from the First Nations University of Canadas strategic plan and other initiatives related to the operations of the institution. The Senior Analyst provides research analysis writing and project management expertise in preparing and developing plans reviewing and developing University processes and policies and providing support in issues carrying out these duties the Senior Analyst reports to the Vice-President Academic and works closely with senior administrative and academic officers as well as working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders both internal and external to the University. Duties: Support Administration by maintaining an overview of initiatives across the organization to identify synergies opportunities and Senior Administration through participation in various projects and assess current and alternative courses of action for a wide range of operational and management initiatives. Implement and support research studies as directed and support implement and maintain survey instruments and data collection Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to ensure that all parties are on track with project requirements deadlines and project status reports by gathering analyzing and summarizing relevant effective project communication plans and ensuring their :Education:Minimum of a Masters Degree in Business or a related field with a certificate in project management is required however preference will be given to candidates with a experience:Minimum five (5) years experience an academic setting with five (5) years related experience in research analysis report writing and project management applicable to a post-secondary institutions (PSI). Skills & Knowledge:Understanding of processes required for developing and monitoring strategic plansUnderstanding of project planning processes and managementDemonstrated experience with academic governance and frameworks Understanding and experience of Tri-Council and other granting agenciesDemonstrated success in working with Indigenous communitiesDemonstrated experience managing complex research projects and teamsDemonstrated experience in developing academic programmingResourceful problem solver who sees the University faculty and staff and related stakeholders like customers and can work cooperatively respectfully and and be able to work in a flexible environment working well under time pressures with simultaneous activitiesHave superior communication skills: written as well as verbal and non-verbal that will engage inspire and motivate key stakeholdersAttention to detail and the ability to follow tasks and ideas through to completionA high degree of flexibility and adaptability in order to respond to changing Range: This is an out-of-scope position Grade 6 ($70759 - $99062)If you are interested in this opportunity please apply online at .
