Job Summary
Material Handler Melbourne FL
Max Payrate: $17.75 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift 6:00am-2:30pm
What You Will Do:
- Receive stock issue parts in bulk area and/or by operating automated carousel. Verify items quantity and condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by utilizing bar codes and computerized inventory systems.
- Prepare package and ship products/parts per specified procedures.
- Pick up and deliver items internal and external to facility.
- Cycle count inventory items. Perform stock transaction via computerized inventory system.
- Position demands constant standing frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Requires valid drivers license. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Read and comprehend simple oral and written instructions.
- Knowledge of computers and basic data entry skills.
- Candidate will be working in a shipping/receiving warehouse.
- Duties will include unloading trucks and unpacking boxes; pulling stockroom materials.
Required:
***VALID FLORIDA DRIVERS LICENSE IS REQUIRED***
-HS diploma or GED -must be verified through Accurate Information Systems
-a candidate with lots of energy
-ability to consistently lift 25 pounds and can lift up to 50 pounds
-must be able to stand 8 hours/day
-ability to operate a computer: there will be simple SAP entries for this position (SAP experience is NOT required)
