As a Airport Traffic Control Officerin Honolulu HI you will serve and safeguard the airport its facilities travelers directing and managing flow of traffic enforcing security protocals and procedures helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff.Your presence and routine patrols will support a secure environment while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time - Morning

Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers staff and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site contacts and local authorities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminals parking areas perimeter zones and other assigned areas noting and reporting unusual activity and/or conditions.
• Perform access control duties such as monitoring entrances verifying identification and/or credentials and directing authorized personnel and visitors to appropriate areas.
• Complete routine documentation including activity logs incident reports and shift handoff notes using required systems and/or forms.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Being able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
