Senior SQL & Power BI Analyst (RCM Focus)

Location: Addison TX (On-Site)

Visa: Only Independent Candidate USC GG GC-EAD- H4-EAD

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on data analyst with strong SQL and Power BI expertise to support Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) reporting and operational analytics. This role is responsible for building governed reconciled drillable reporting that leadership can trust for financial and operational decision-making.

This is not a dashboard-only role. The ideal candidate understands data lineage reconciliation discipline and how to structure models that support accurate executive reporting.

Core Requirements (Must-Have)

1. Advanced SQL (Primary Skill)

Write complex SQL queries across multiple tables (joins CTEs aggregations subqueries)
Validate and reconcile data against source systems
Optimize queries for performance
Ensure accuracy of financial and operational reporting outputs

2. Strong Power BI Development

Build semantic models and reports in Microsoft Power BI
Develop measures using DAX
Design star-schema oriented or well-structured data models
Enable drill-down and drill-through functionality for executive reporting
Create interactive reports supporting multi-level analysis (payer provider claim etc.)

3. RCM Domain Experience

Experience working with revenue cycle data (AR denials payments adjustments aging)
Ability to trace metrics back to transactional detail
Comfort supporting finance and operations stakeholders

4. Governance & Reconciliation Discipline

Reconcile report outputs to source systems
Validate totals before distribution
Document metric definitions and logic
Maintain version control and reporting standards

Additional Skills (Preferred but Not Required)

Experience with healthcare billing systems or practice management systems
Familiarity with ETL concepts
Experience building standardized executive reporting packages
