Tekberry is seeking a Quality Technician II to support quality operations for our client a global leader in advanced optical manufacturing technologies at its Keller Texas facility.
This role combines computer-based quality documentation work (approximately 70%) with hands-on inspection activities (approximately 30%). The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented comfortable working with data and proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook. This position works cross-functionally with manufacturing engineering and customer service teams to investigate quality issues document findings and support continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities Customer Notifications & Quality InvestigationsManage and investigate Customer Notifications (CNs) related to product quality concerns
Collaborate with manufacturing engineering and customer service teams to identify root causes
Support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes
Maintain accurate records documentation and follow-up communications
Provide timely status updates and resolution documentation
Perform receiving and in-process inspections to verify product conformance
Use measurement tools and inspection equipment to ensure compliance with specifications
Document inspection results and communicate findings to appropriate teams
Identify and report non-conformances
Support project quality activities and documentation
Monitor and report quality performance metrics
Assist with process improvements and compliance activities
Provide feedback to enhance product and process quality
Maintain quality records and documentation systems
Assist with internal audits and follow-up actions (as applicable)
Ensure accurate tracking of quality activities and data
Associates degree in Science or Engineering (REQUIRED)
At least 6 months of experience in a quality manufacturing lab or technical environment
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Outlook
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment
Familiarity with inspections measurement tools or non-conformance reporting
Exposure to audits or quality systems
Experience working cross-functionally with operations or engineering teams
Combination office and manufacturing floor environment
Approximately 70% computer/data work and 30% inspection activities
Standing walking and light physical inspection tasks required
