Security Officer Full-Time Rover Patrol

As a Security Officer - Full-Time Rover Patrol in San Francisco CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and media location as an unarmed patrol officer. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas stay highly visible to help reduce security-related issues support access control and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. You will use a computer and/or tablet to document activity and respond to requests with a customer-first approach backed by a caring team that values agility reliability innovation and integrity.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients employees and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a tech-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting events and promptly notifying the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices common areas parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry including visitor check-in badge verification and directing guests to the appropriate areas per site procedures.
• Complete routine security-related reports activity logs and shift handoffs using site-required tools and/or systems escalating issues according to post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 years of security experience.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
