About this Position:
Job Title: Administrative Support & Data Automation Clerk
Primary Duties:

Front-Desk Management: Meet and greet customers upon entry and provide immediate assistance or direction to staff.

Communication Handling: Answer phone lines promptly provide service information and manage class registrations.
-
Database Management: Perform data entry and maintain workshop schedules using the AFFIRST or other DoD databases.
-
Reporting & Analysis: Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage data transfer information to databases and generate usage reports.
-
Resource Center Support: Conduct orientations for walk-in customers and assist with technical questions or computer issues.

Technical Maintenance: Perform minor troubleshooting for office equipment like printers and scanners to ensure operational readiness.

Library & Inventory Control: Catalog track and maintain the reference library and equipment through the AFFIRST system.
-
Marketing & Publicity: Create and distribute marketing materials posters and monthly event calendars using Microsoft Publisher.

Administrative & Facility Support: Maintain organized workspaces prepare classroom materials and assist with mail distribution and kitchen details.
Qualifications.
Must have:

Minimum of high school diploma.
-
Minimum of at least one year of related experience in a customer service environment.
-
A working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite including Word PowerPoint Excel and Publisher.
-
Knowledge of correct grammar spelling punctuation capitalization and format to accurately prepare and edit written correspondence and reports.
-
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing using tact and courtesy.
-
Must be able to read write speak and understand English.

The ability to become proficient in the Air Force Family Integrated Results and Statistical Tracking (AFFIRST) database. The Government will provide access and training for any specialized government systems.
