About the Role
DoorDash is seeking an Associate Growth Merchant Lead (aGML) to join the Outside Sales team. This is a field-based sales position focused on expanding DoorDashs footprint in emerging and rural markets by signing new restaurant partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and win new restaurant partnerships within assigned territory
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with restaurant owners
- Present the value of partnering with DoorDash
- Negotiate revenue share agreements
- Manage a fast-paced transactional sales cycle
- Travel throughout the territory (50% travel required)
Travel Requirements
- Majority of travel within 2 hours of Peru IL
- Occasional overnight stays and extended travel days (6 7 hours driving or flights)
- Travel expenses covered by the company
- Travel compliance monitored
Qualifications
- 2 years of successful sales experience (closing role preferred)
- Experience selling to SMBs (restaurant/food & beverage strongly preferred)
- Strong prospecting and negotiation skills
- Comfortable with frequent travel and in-person sales
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build territory strategy
