What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures property policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial property including common areas parking areas and perimeter points documenting observations and reporting concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with de-escalation contacting onsite management and/or requesting public emergency services when needed.
• Support access control activities such as monitoring entrances observing for unauthorized access verifying credentials when required and directing visitors to appropriate check-in locations.
• Complete detailed reports on patrols incidents and/or maintenance concerns and communicate updates to site representatives and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 or more years of security-related experience.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
