Job Description
As a Hospital Security Officer you will serve and safeguard a high profile healthcare customer. The Hospital Security Officer is responsible for the surveillance of the clients healthcare premises and the protection of the staff members and visitors. A Hospital Security Professional detects and prevents any suspicious activity observe and reports incidents and provides customer service in a friendly and professional manner.

- Must have 1 year security experience within the last 3 years with an active guard card.
- Must have a clean background and driving record.
- Free County healthcare.
- Must have High School diploma or GED or Official Transcripts.
As an Unarmed Security Officer you will serve and safeguard clients in a Government Building.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures enforce site-specific policies and if appropriate emergency response.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter. Work environment and conditions may vary by client site.
- Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess effective written and oral communication skills and good interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of client personnel and the general public in a professional manner.
- Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative wireless technology for personnel management and fulfilling security duties.
- Possess the skills to handle crisis situations at client sites in a calm and efficient manner.
- Ability to:
- Work in various environments such as cold or hot weather rain or snow
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
- Climb stairs ramps or ladders occasionally during shift
- Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
MINIMUM REQUIREMETNS:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Possess a current Guard Card and any other licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations that may be prior to employment.
- As a condition of employment the candidate must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with federal state and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Possess a valid drivers license for driving positions only.
- Must have at least 1 year of security experience within the past 3 years; or military and/or law enforcement experience.
