As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Role in Chapel Hill NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an unarmed driving Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine mobile rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will engage with shoppers and staff through strong customer service and clear communication while documenting activity and reporting concerns. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a retail or mall location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and service calls in a calm problem-solving manner notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as required by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of common areas corridors parking areas loading zones and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
• Monitor entrances tenant areas and high-traffic zones for unusual activity assist with crowd management as needed and help maintain orderly conduct in accordance with site rules.
• Document patrols incidents and observations using written reports and/or electronic systems and communicate relevant updates during shift turnovers.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
