What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Control access to buildings manufacturing areas and other restricted areas by verifying identification reviewing badges and/or credentials and directing visitors and contractors according to site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting events and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Complete required logs reports and shift handoffs using approved systems and procedures including reporting maintenance concerns access issues and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state county or city issued security license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
