Job Description
As a Airport Traffic Control Officerin Honolulu HI you will serve and safeguard the airport its facilities travelers directing and managing flow of traffic enforcing security protocals and procedures helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff.Your presence and routine patrols will support a secure environment while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time - Morning
Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:
- 20 Years of Age
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
- Ability to pass a background check drug screen and physical exam

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors and employees by following site-specific security-related procedures government facility policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including medical calls disturbances lost property situations and/or suspicious activity and notify the appropriate personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout public areas employee-only areas parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter prohibited activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns.
- Control access at designated entry points by checking identification and/or credentials monitoring gates and doors and directing individuals to the proper location in accordance with post orders.
- Complete daily activity logs and incident reports communicate via radio and/or telephone and coordinate with on-site staff and local responders when required.
Minimum Requirements:
- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
