As a Security Officer - Manufacturing - Patrol Driverin Waterloo IA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will use clear communication and strong customer service to support employees visitors and operations while documenting observations and responding to concerns. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license backed by Allied Universals agile reliable innovative people-first culture.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas warehouses parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry including checking credentials directing traffic flow and/or coordinating visitor processing per site requirements.
• Complete routine reports and logs communicate updates during shift transitions and support security-related inspections such as checking doors gates and loading areas for irregularities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent is required as specified by the client.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
