As a Security Officer - Federal Patrol Driver in Ventura CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a government location where your visible presence and routine patrols help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post so you will use your valid drivers license to move between areas check doors and gates respond to calls for assistance and document observations. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance access control and security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including medical or behavioral disturbances fire or alarm activations and requests for assistance from staff and visitors.
• Monitor access points and public areas verify identification and/or visitor authorization as required and assist with directions and information while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document patrol activity incidents and unusual observations in written and/or electronic reports and communicate timely updates to site leadership dispatch and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
