What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff visitors contractors and residents at a government facility by following Allied Universal post orders site-specific policies and security-related procedures and by supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents disturbances alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings grounds and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor access control points and controlled areas by verifying identification and/or authorization managing visitor processing and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Complete shift reports and required documentation communicate status updates to site leadership and/or public agency partners and participate in briefings and related administrative tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 years of security-related experience.
• Be 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
