As a Security Officer - Healthcare Foot Patrol in Miami FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will remain highly visible respond to situations as needed and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity hazards or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
- Collaborate with facility staff and visitors to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances checking identification as required and helping to maintain authorized entry to designated areas.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents observations and patrol activities for Allied Universal and client records.
- Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and coordinating with on-site personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
