What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures location-specific policies and/or emergency response activities.
• Conduct entry screening for employees visitors and vendors using approved screening methods and equipment verifying credentials and controlling access to restricted areas to help to deter prohibited items.
• Inspect and screen inbound and outbound packages parcels and/or shipments as directed maintaining chain-of-custody documentation and completing required logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns through established communication and reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location including dock areas staging areas and perimeter points watching for unusual activity and reporting maintenance and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• XRay screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
