Job Description
As a Security Guard - Flex Mobile Patrol in Reno NV you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and respond to concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating to appropriate personnel when required.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Control access by checking identification verifying authorization and directing visitors and employees according to post orders and site procedures.
- Prepare clear timely reports and complete required documentation including shift logs incident reports and observations from patrols.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be 21 years of age.
- A Private Investigator License unarmed is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
