As a Security Officer - Driver Roving Patrol in Fort Wayne IN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer supporting a dynamic construction environment. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine vehicle and foot rounds remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and respond to service requests with clear communication and a customer-first mindset. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the location including building areas staging zones parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unsafe conditions.
• Control access at designated entry points by checking credentials directing visitors and vendors to the proper check-in process and maintaining visitor and/or delivery logs per site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including communicating with site leadership and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete routine reports and document security-related observations incidents and corrective actions taken using required systems and/or post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security experience is required.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
