What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government healthcare location by following Allied Universal protocols site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting appropriate internal staff and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas entrances loading areas and the exterior perimeter noting that working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and assist with access control activities such as checking identification issuing visitor credentials and directing authorized visitors to the correct destinations.
• Complete security-related reports and logs document unusual activity and communicate status updates to supervisors and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Vaccines are required for this hospital site.
• CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
