Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Perimeter Rounds in Philadelphia PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents guests and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including observing reporting and coordinating with on-site staff and/or local responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of residential buildings common areas parking areas and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity as assigned verifying authorization documenting entries and exits and assisting with directions and general questions.
- Complete patrol logs incident reports and other required documentation and communicate security-related observations to supervision and/or site management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
