Job Description
As a Security Guard - Mobile Rounds Driver in Sterling VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location you will conduct routine patrols stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents and respond to requests with professional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post so a valid drivers license is required as you move between areas and complete reports. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a utilities location.
- Respond to alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report findings through required communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings grounds and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards.
- Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying identification monitoring visitor sign-in processes and directing traffic flow as required.
- Complete security-related reports such as daily activity logs incident reports and shift handoffs and communicate notable conditions to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
