Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Bilingual Spanish in San Diego CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location you will conduct routine patrols of production warehouse and exterior areas stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and observe for unusual activity. You will greet employees and visitors support access points as needed and provide clear communication to report concerns. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and facility personnel by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas warehouses offices parking lots and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor access control points and check identification for employees visitors and contractors; maintain visitor logs and follow sign-in and badge procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with de-escalation and communicating with site leadership and/or public emergency services when needed.
- Complete accurate security-related reports document unusual activity and communicate observations hazards and maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Speak read and write fluent Spanish.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
