Job Description
As a Security Officer Flex Armed Rover in Richmond VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Respond to alarms disturbances and other incidents in a calm problem-solving manner and coordinate with site contacts and/or local emergency services as needed.
- Monitor access points and controlled areas verify identification and/or authorization where required and assist with visitor management and directions while maintaining a professional presence.
- Document patrols incidents and unusual conditions in written reports and/or electronic systems and communicate significant updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card/license.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
