Job Description
As a Security Officer - Control Room in West Point GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced automotive location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations by reporting concerns assisting employees and visitors and delivering strong customer service through clear communication. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at an automotive location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting observations and escalating concerns through the chain of command.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings parking areas and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance access control and/or operational issues.
- Control access at vehicle gates and facility entry points by verifying identification authorizations and deliveries and coordinating visitor check-in and directions as needed.
- Complete shift logs and incident reports and communicate clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns policy updates and/or post instructions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
