As a Security Officer - Unarmed Site Patrol in Kings Mountain NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an industrial manufacturing location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors document observations and respond to situations with calm professionalism and strong customer service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients employees and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including medical situations fire alarms and/or unauthorized activity and notify site leadership and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas warehouses loading docks parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and screen entrants according to site procedures including verifying identification issuing visitor instructions and documenting entries and exits.
• Complete accurate daily activity logs incident reports and shift handoffs and communicate observations and/or maintenance concerns to Allied Universal and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
