Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Hotel Patrol in Cincinnati OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an unarmed patrol officer in a high-end retail and mall location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and support store teams with professional communication and customer service. You will document observations respond to calls for assistance and contribute to a welcoming experience. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Respond to incidents customer concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating to site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of sales floors back-of-house areas entrances and the perimeter to help to deter theft trespassing and/or other policy violations.
- Monitor CCTV alarms and access points when assigned documenting irregular activity and completing incident reports and daily activity logs.
- Support store operations by assisting with opening and closing routines observing merchandise handling and cash movement practices and coordinating with management on security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
